Declare scripture over
yourself and expect God to change YOU:
Whenever we judge others in
condemnation, we will reap those things ourselves.
Luke 6:37 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn
not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be
forgiven:
God says there is NO
excuse when we judge others; we are sinners ourselves.
Rom 2:1 Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whoever you are who
judge, for in whatever you judge another you condemn yourself; for
you who judge practice the same things. NKJV
Whatever we do not honor
in our parents, we will reap in ourselves or others.
Ex 20:12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days
may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
Unforgiveness,
resentment and bitterness in our lives defile others.
Heb 12:15 Looking diligently lest any man fail of the
grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you,
and thereby many be defiled;
We must learn to discern
with spiritual discernment based on God's truth.
Heb 5:14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of
full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses
exercised to discern both good and evil.
Critical attitudes cause
us to be blind to our sins and we reap criticism.
Luke 6:41 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy
brother's eye, but perceivest not the beam that is in thine own
eye?
If we have bad fruit on
our "tree" it is because of bad roots on our tree.
Luke 6:43 For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt
fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
Whatever we sow, we will
reap, reap more than we sowed and later.
Gal 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for
whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
When we learn to let
Jesus bless others through us, we fulfill our calling to bless and
inherit a blessing also.
1 Peter 3:8-10 To sum up, let all be harmonious,
sympathetic, brotherly, kindhearted, and humble in spirit; not
returning evil for evil, or insult for insult, but giving a blessing
instead; for you were called for the very purpose that you might
inherit a blessing.
When we bless others who persecute us, we
speak the power of the Holy Spirit into their life to make them
free.
Rom 12:14 Bless those who persecute you;
bless and do not curse.
When God allows us to see the weakness of
others, He is trusting us to intercede (vs. criticize), to bear
their burden, to speak revelation, reconciliation or restoration.
Matt 5:44-45 But I say to you, love your enemies,
bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray
for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, ...
