This is the Tipping Point Year! After
listening to Apostle Jane Hamon share on the Joseph anointing to deliver
from the demonic spirits of bondage in Egypt, I decided to share it as a
prayer strategy. We come together to war against the Egypt spirit
of bondage here and there.
This year, God
is shaking everything that contends with worshipping Him. As believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, we have dual
citizenship and a calling to establish the Kingdom of God on earth as it
is in Heaven.
Every time God had to take the Israelites into captivity, He
brought them out with wealth in their hands. Joseph had an amazing
faith in God understood
that it was not his brothers who had put him into captivity, but God.
He received the vision to be a minister to Pharaoh and to bring provision
and deliverance, even to those who had sold him into captivity. After 13
years of slavery and imprisonment, Joseph remained in faith and was promoted overnight to
leadership in Egypt.
Genesis 45:5-8 5 But now, do
not therefore be grieved or angry with yourselves because you sold me
here; for God sent me before you to preserve life. 6 For these two years
the famine has been in the land,
and there are still five years in which there will be neither plowing
nor harvesting. 7 And God sent me before you to preserve a posterity
for you in the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance.
8 So now it was not you who sent me here, but God; and He has
made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his house, and a
ruler throughout all the land of Egypt. NKJV
Trying times are not a time to quit
trying. After 400 years of harsh oppression, 70 Israelites had
become over 600,000 in number. In slavery, they became the most
productive and fruitful people while under religious persecution.
Israelite women sometimes bore 2, 3 or 4 babies at time. Likewise,
persecuted China is seeing over 25,000 conversions in a day.
We are in a Joseph season and his
name means increase. Egypt was one of the most foundational
nations of science and education. While in Egypt, Israel was
educated in many skills and businesses, i.e. such as gem cutting.
Later, God had to send disobedient Israel into Babylonian captivity, where they were
schooled again but this time they did not ultimately let the spirit of
idolatry in Babylon
take them over. Again in the hot house of oppression, God formed the
nation of Israel. Obstacles and challenges make over comers and
champions.
Why did God allow His people to go
into bondage in Egypt? Although Moses delivered people from Egypt,
Joseph delivered them in Egypt. Today, we are bombarded by the
spirit of Egypt in our secular universities and colleges, by media,
business, etc. But we as believers have also
been given the ability to influence whole regions and territories within the
world's system. God is giving us positions in education, religion,
government, media, entertainment, business, in families, etc. in order
to conquer the demonic spirits of Egypt, Babylon, Baal, etc. that
come against the knowledge and worship of the one true God.
Jesus Himself was sent to Egypt
(the only foreign soil) as a child. Jesus is THE deliverer, the
bread of life, the living water, and as we turn our eyes upon Jesus, we
will find deliverance. Historically, the more the church is
afflicted, the more it grows. As the devil seeks to fragment and
fracture us so he can control us.
The spirit of Egypt has a 3 point
strategy to bring us into bondage:
1. IDOLATRY corrupts and
causes us to make a god of everything. Moses confronted the idolatry,
proclaiming over and over with each plague, that these gods are not god
but the one true God is the great "I AM." Egypt was poly-theistic
having many gods, but our citizens do too. Many Christian believers
say they believe
in many roads to God and that all lead to the same God. Jesus said, John
14:6 "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the
Father except through Me." NKJV
2. TYRANNY characterized the spirit of Egypt and at first it
appears to be impossible to over throw. The USSR appeared to be
impossible. We must walk in righteousness and integrity in order
to over come corruption. 40% of the people in Egypt make less than
$2. a day. Today, God is raising up leaders who are willing to
work in teams, who serve, empower and mobilize the people and the one
man show is out.
3. OPPRESSION tries to make us
sick in our bodies, to break us down with poverty, to keep us from
multiplying and cause chaos and confusion, With poverty, many
other spirits come to oppress: i.e. python comes to cut off our supply
lines and provisions.
As we come into agreement with God,
His
desire is to release us from the oppression of Egypt and deliver us with
His mercy and favor.
As we pray for Egypt and all
nations, God's desire is to intervene with His Spirit of Truth and deliver
them from darkness and from Islam.
We speak God's Truth over all
nations, speaking confusion over the enemy and speaking revelations
of Jesus, the Spirit of Truth, to them.
We release revelation through
dreams, visions, prophetic Words and many witnesses who will hear the
call to go and share God's love.
We arise and shine, speaking Rhema
Words, speaking God's glory, light, the power of the Holy Spirit to
awaken nations to God's Truth.
We speak wisdom to discern
between good and evil and come against symbols of Egyptian and pagan
oppression. i.e. obelisks in our country.
We receive the ability to discern
idolatry in our own lives. We choose to honor God over
addiction, lusts, materialism and self-idolatry.
In Jesus' Name, we repent of
passivity, complacency and being asleep under the oppression of
python and deaf and dumb spirits.
We choose to receive open spiritual
eyes and ears to discern for God's favor and plan vs. the plan of
the world to prosper us.
In Jesus' Name, we come against the
plans of the enemy to come against this generation so they will not
hear God's call.
We cast the spirit of Egyptian
bondage out of our own lives first.
We hear the call to overthrow the
bondage of false gods, and lift up the one true God and in God we
Trust again.
We repent corporately, for wanting
to be neutral or passive and choose to stand between our children and
nation against the devil.
We repent of not fighting the devil
and unite to fight against demonic oppression, idolatries, bondages and
anti-Christ agendas of all kinds.
